Just a quick Vlog update. A bit about Resi 5 and some other stuff.

Just letting you know that I still care.

I'm going to be brief as I'm about to pass out from exhaustion but I promised a Blog (fucking Twitter, makes me say things) and I keep promises (most of the time).

I was on Facebook (yes I use it. No you cannot add me) earlier and I noticed that alot of my friends had been doing these "Top 5 movies/albums/novels/video games/TV shows" lists and posting them for all to see. They all have awful taste, unanimously (disregarding my friend Alfie who has impeccable film taste).

Now this got me thinking, undoubtadely a stupid idea at this time(1:30 AM, and I was up all last night). and ultimately led me to the conclusion that it could be my taste that's bad not theirs. Let's take a look and compare.

My "Top 5 films":

1. The Godfather - General Consensus: The greatest or second greatest film of all time.
2. The Dark Knight - General Consensus: A great blockbuster film with a lot of depth given it's genre.
3. The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford - General Consensus: A sublime retelling of the infamous outlaws life with stunning performances from Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck.
4. Apocalypse Now - General Consensus: One of the most powerful war films of all time.
5. WATCHMEN - General Consensus: Muddled at best (consensus not film)

So, according to the general consensus my film taste is fine. -Phew-

Oh and before I forget. How insensitive is this? Do people honestly think it's funny to mock a woman who died of cancer and left behind a family? I know she was a racist bitch, but it's still barbaric to mock the woman.

A proper blog, with rants and everything... Honest!

Sorry about the lack of any decent updates since my WATCHMEN review on the 11th. Believe it or not I have been busy attempting to pass my A-levels and maintaining a social life. I'll do my best to correct it soon.

I tell you what, I'll promise you three things and give myself deadlines:

1. Manga Spider-man textual recap - 5th April 2009
2. At least two reviews in the next three weeks.
3. "Magic the Gathering: The Shadow Mage" video recap - 12th April 2009

I think that seems fair.

So, what's been bugging me recently? The fact that I actually have to think about this bodes badly for the rest of this blog post. Very badly.

AH-HAH! Comic Relief pissed me off! Comic Relief always pisses me off! Why? Why does something that is essentially good in nature piss me off? Because we have to do it, at all. So I guess it's poverty that pisses me off...

I'm burnt out from working on my ICT... Sorry.

You may have noticed the banner for Green Day's new album, 21st Century Breakdown at the top of my website. If so, you might (legitamitely) be wondering why on earth I put it their. Green Day certainly aren't going to pay me for it, so why have I bothered?

To put it simply, I love the band. I want to give them my full support with their new album. Stop fucking emailing me about it.

Finally...

I finally did that review I've been harping on about. I'm quite pleased with it, it's not my best but it'll do.

I might be dropping off the compass for the next week or so, coursework deadlines are pushing in and I really need to knuckle down if I want to get anything resembling a good grade. I'll try to keep up my reviews but I doubt it'll happen.

So ill.

I've been really ill for the last couple of days, hence the lack of a WATCHMEN review. I promise I'll get onto it as soon as possible.

In the meanwhile I hope these spoofs can tide you over.

I think I have a problem...

I just updated my Twitter profile three timesw in an hour. I didn't even mean too, it was a compulsion, similar to my "need" to log in to Facebook, MSN and Xfire. I think the internet has actuallly taken over my life.

Oh well.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Partially due to a bad muscle spasm in the left hand side of my body which put me out of action for a few days, partially due to the fact that I actually want to pass my A-levels. It's looking like I'm gonna be gone for a few more days yet though so this is just an update to say I'm still alive.

P.S. Before I forget, I'm deciding to become a little bit more proffesional so expect to see a release schedule of sorts next week.

P.P.S. Expect a review of the Watchmen film next week as well.
