Word Processors

Two reviews this week: Soul Calibur 4 and Stars Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.

Why is it that Openoffice claims to be compatible with Microsoft Word when it clearly isn't? I mean sure most of the program is compatible, but there is one key difference. Images. If you put an image into an Openoffice document, it works fine. If you put an image into a Word document it works fine. If you put an image into a Word file then open it in Openoffice, it works fine. But heaven forbid that you should put an image into an Openoffice file then open that in word.

As an ICT student who needs to screenshot and explain what I'm doing consistently, the effects of opening an image heavy Openoffice document in Word are horrendous. Every single image on the page is streched to astronomical levels. Look at this if you don't believe me:

Yeah...

Anyway I finally got an Ipod and I made the horribly stupiud decision of getting a shuffle. Whilst this model is far cheaper, I'm going to tell you to stay as far away from it as possible. You're only paying for an Ipod which denies you the liberty of choosing what you want to listen to.
